QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A doctor who grew up in Coldwater has returned to practice medicine in Quincy.
Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater has added Abdulsalam Salem, DO to its medical staff at the Insight Quincy Internal Medicine Office.
Dr. Salem is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. His clinical interests include the prevention and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, as well as preventive care, minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses.
Dr. Salem is a graduate of Coldwater High School who completed his Family Medicine Residency at Central Michigan University in Saginaw, Michigan. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Pikeville–Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky.
“What I enjoy most about practicing in a smaller community is the opportunity to build lasting, multi-generational relationships with patients and their families,” said Dr. Salem. “Helping individuals take control of their health and witnessing the positive impact of that partnership over time is incredibly rewarding.”
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Salem to our team,” said Heidi Johnson, Office Manager for Quincy Internal Medicine Office. “His commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and his focus on preventive medicine will be a tremendous asset to our patients and the communities we serve.”
Dr. Salem is seeing patients at the Insight Quincy Internal Medicine Office, located at 185 East Chicago Street, Quincy, Michigan.
