COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Just like last year, the morning started out overcast with showers but the weather gradually improved and another big crowd turned out Sunday for the 72nd Annual Fly-In Breakfast and Motorcycle Ride at the Branch Memorial Airport Sunday.
The Branch County Flying Club hosted the annual event. A pancakes breakfast was served at the Elite Air Service Hangar.
The weather cleared off enough to allow for helicopter and airplane rides.
One of the planes that drew a lot of interest was a 1961 Beechcraft passenger plane.
The annual Blessing of the Bikes sponsored by Planet Powersports took place once again.
That was followed by the Ride to Hell. Hell, Michigan that is. Organizers say about 90 bikes showed up despite the early morning rain.
The money raised from the Fly-In breakfast will go towards scholarships for students who are interested in pursuing a career in aviation.
