VERMONTVILLE, MI (WTVB) – Quincy improved to 6-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big 8 with a straight-set victory Tuesday at Maple Valley, 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.
Kenzi Maynard, Kora Timmons, and Laura Bostic recorded four kills apiece. JC Quimby served up a team-high eight aces along with five digs, Alexis Reif had seven aces and six digs, and Ashlyn Fickle dished out nine assists to go with five digs.
The Orioles will host Springport on Thursdsay.
SPRINGPORT, MI – Bronson improved to 2-0 in the Big 8 and 4-11-1 overall as they defeated Springport in four sets, 24-26, 25-9, 25-13, 25-17. The Vikings will travel to Homer on Thursday.
HOMER, MI – Union City fell to 6-3 overall and 0-2 in the Big 8 as they dropped a four-set decision at Homer, 25-21, 25-20, 18-25, 25-9. The Chargers visit Reading on Thursday.
