COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners have provided written support for the newly formed Marble and Coldwater Lake clean water partnership.
They have put together a letter of support for the group which was formed a year ago with members from the Coldwater Lake Association and Marble Improvement Association.
The group’s Margie Franker spoke to the Commissioners during their work session last Thursday. It was pointed out the group was formed to look at the water quality of the lakes as well as all the land around the lakes.
The partnership is now a 501c Corporation which means they can receive tax deductible donations. The letter provided by the Commissioners will also help strengthen their grant proposals.
