Jack F. Dolbee, 83, of Sherwood, Michigan, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at his home.
In keeping with Jack’s wishes, he will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Union City.
Family and friends will host a celebration of life gathering at 1122 Pepper Drive, Sherwood, MI Saturday, October 3, 2026 starting at 1:00 p.m.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Jack was born April 24, 1943, to Benjamin and Retta Rose (Van Dee) Dolbee. He graduated from Union City High School with the Class of 1962.
Over the years Jack worked for Cole Farm in Union City, Risner Roofing in Burlington, and on his family farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and having a good time. In high school Jack played football, ran track, and was a four-year member of the FFA.
Surviving Jack are his brother, William Dolbee of Magnolia, TX, his sister, Nancy (Dick) Rumsey of Lansing, his several nieces and nephews, and his Vogel Drive family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
