Christine Lucille “Chris” Bradley, 75, of Union City, Michigan passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at her home, under hospice care, surrounded by her family.
In keeping with her wishes, Chris will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026 at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, 1276 Tate Trail, Union City, MI, with sharing time at 6:00 p.m.
Chris was born January 16, 1951 to Robert and Mary (Swihart) Smith in Coldwater, Michigan. She graduated from Colon High School with the Class of 1970. In 1971, Chris married Michael Bradley at the First Congregational UCC in Union City, Michigan. The marriage ended in divorce, but they remained close friends until his death in 2017.
Chris worked as a school bus driver for Union City Community Schools and was a homemaker.
Chris enjoyed being a part of the Bunco club, throwing Home Interiors parties, puff painting, and going to coffee and breakfast with her friends. She loved children and did lots of babysitting through the years. She loved all her dogs, and watching and feeding the local squirrel population.
Chris is survived by her two daughters, Amy Bradley and Lisa Bradley. In addition to her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Michael Bradley, she was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Robert Smith and Judy Wyatt.
