BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s girls golf team played in the Interstate 8 Conference Championship Wednesday at Cedar Creek Golf Course and came in second place, shooting a round of 356. Harper Creek was crowned Conference Champions after winning the championship with a score of 337.
Coldwater was led by Aubrey Eberts, whose round of 80, was good enough for second place. Payton Longstreet and Harper Anglin tied for sixth with rounds of 90, McKinley Earles and Alivia Arnold each fired a 96, and Kenna Niedzwiecki shot a 107.
Eberts was named to the Interstate 8 All-Conference First Team and ended the Conference season in second place overall as an Individual. Earles, Anglin, Arnold, and Longstreet were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
The Cardinals will travel to the Marshall Country Club Friday for the Marshall Redhawk Invitational.
