COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s varsity girls volleyball team made every moment of Senior Night count Wednesday, as they got past Pennfield in five sets, 26-24, 20-25, 17-25, 25-13, 15-11.
Adyson Qualls led the Cardinals with 19 kills and 16 digs. Aubrey Gebbink wasn’t far behind with 16 kills, 6 service aces, and 8 digs. Brooklyn Closson finished with 7 kills, a team-high 9 aces, 13 digs, and 37 assists. Marie Powers had 5 kills and 5 blocks, and Alyise Dally contributed 5 aces.
Coldwater improved to 11-12-1 overall and 1-2 in the Interstate 8 with the victory. They will host Jackson Northwest next Tuesday afternoon in a special assembly match.
