JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Wednesday night was the inaugural night for Legg Middle School 7th and 8th grade football squads as they traveled to Jackson to play Parkside Middle School.
The 7th graders won 28-0 behind a three touchdown night for Cameron Torres. Elijah Sloan also scored a TD for Legg while Chase Sunderland and Hunter Munson scored on two point conversions.
The 8th grade squad rallied from an 8-0 halftime deficit to win 14-8. Aiden Marsden scored on a four yard quarterback keeper and then hooked up with Coe Szafranski on a 71 yard touchdown pass with 1:15 left to give Legg the lead for good.
