COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that Quincy High School graduate Cayden Sparks has been appointed as the Chamber’s new Executive Director.
Sparks takes over for Nichole Steel, who left recently after accepting a position in the Holland-Grand Haven area.
After graduating from Quincy High School, Sparks earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Western Michigan University.
For the past three years, he has been a Small Business Consultant for the Southwest Michigan Small Business Development Center in Kalamazoo.
Part of the job included delivering workshops to local economic development centers and chambers, of which he has presented to Branch, St. Joseph and Calhoun Counties.
The Chamber says Sparks helped over 25 entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business ownership.
Sparks has also been part owner of Sunset Cove Resort and Campground in Quincy since 2005.
