COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Coldwater Downtown Development Authority board got a downtown reinvestment project update from consultant Bob Harris during their meeting this past Wednesday morning.
While he is working on a plan to attract more businesses to downtown, he pointed out he is not writing a strategic plan.
He indicated things have to move along quickly saying this was no time for a five or ten year plan.
Harris said the diversity of the Coldwater community should be celebrated
A timeline calls for Harris to make his recommendations in either November or December with a D.D.A. Board Strategic Planning session in January. A plan is scheduled to be implemented next April.
Harris is working as a $1,000 a month consultant as part of a six month agreement. He is a retired Chief Executive Officer for the Alliance Foods Group.
