COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two huge pieces of manufacturing equipment will be heading to Detroit from the Port of Indiana on U.S. 12 Monday morning.
Drivers should be prepared for delays on each side of U.S. 12 as wires will have to raised.
Consumers Energy Community Affairs Manager Greg Moore says the equipment should reach Bronson at around 9:40 a.m. and Coldwater at about 10:30 a.m.
Consumer’s Energy crews will accompany the equipment as it makes its way across the state on U.S. 12.
The Village of Quincy said on its Facebook page that the pieces are 18 feet tall and 18 feet wide and they up to 200 feet long.
Drivers may want to avoid U.S. 12 while the equipment is being moved if possible to avoid the delays.
