Norma Morr, 83, of
Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Drew’s Place in Coldwater.
A graveside
memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Batavia
Cemetery in Batavia Township with Pastor Matt West officiating. The family is
being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Norma was born on
December 4, 1935 to Harold and Ethel (Baker) Peavey in Coldwater. She was a
graduate of Coldwater High School. Norma married Roger E. Morr on June 14, 1953
and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2005. She worked at Coldwater
Hospital in Pediatrics for over 7 years and then at Coldwater Pediatrics for
over 22 years.
Norma was a devoted
wife, mother and grandmother, always doing for her family. She attended Girard
United Methodist Church. After retirement they enjoyed winters in Florida,
collecting Pepsi Cola items and Norma joined the Beanie Baby craze and had
collected several hundred. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved
her.
She is survived by
her children; Debra (Stephen) Cox of Coldwater, Gregory (Brenda) Morr of
Bronson and Marc (Kerri) Morr of Coldwater. They were blessed with 4
grandchildren, Richelle (Michael) Foulk, Kelly (Jeremy) Wine, Dustin Morr and
Danielle (Keegan) Orr along with great grandchildren, Emily and Kyle Foulk,
Brayden, Bryce, Brennan and Brooklyn Wine, Roan Orr and Norah Morr.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger, her son Roger W and her
granddaughter Richelle.
