NEW ORLEANS, LA (WTVB) – The Pelicans confirmed that Zion Williamson will miss their final preseason game due to “right knee soreness”. It was reported on Friday that the issue was set to keep Williamson out for a number of weeks, meaning he would miss the start of the NBA season, although he was said to have avoided serious injury. And one day after NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that the Chinese government told the league it wanted Rockets GM Daryl Morey fired, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that, “the Chinese Government never posed this requirement.” Morey has not made any public comment since a pair of tweets on October 6 clarifying his position.
