UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – A long time Union City restaurant and gathering place will be closing later this year.
It was announced by the owners of the Bucket Restaurant on Tuesday that it will close permanently on or before December 18, 2020.
The building will still be available for American Legion Post 196 and The Son’s of the Legion to hold meetings.

Smith said in a Facebook post, “This is not due to COVID, it’s everything to do with family and health . Thank You everyone for all the years of good times.
The Smith family has owned the Bucket for over 45 years.
