Donna Jean Baker, 98, of Coldwater, formerly of Litchfield, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
She was born on July 30, 1922 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Lacy and Gracey (Allen) Allen. She married Louis Baker on May 30, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1978.
Donna was a welder at Union Steel product in Albion for 40 years. She attended Grace Freewill Baptist Church in Albion for many years.
She is survived by daughter, Lois (James) McClurg-Wright; three sisters, Loretta Wright, Henirita Rose, Hanna Rowe; one great-grandchild and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Louis, Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Stephen and Deanna McClurg; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services for Donna Jean Baker will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Pastor Abe Prater officiating. Interment will take place in Albion Memory Gardens.
Visitation will also be held Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Freewill Baptist Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
