BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Community Schools is looking for fill a vacant school board seat with Mike Roberts stepping down from the board as of last Friday.
According to a post on the district’s Facebook page, this position will be filled by a majority vote of the Board of Education.
The district is seeking individuals from the community that would be interested in serving for a partial term of 2 years until December 31, 2022.
Potential candidates must be a registered voter in the Bronson School District for at least 30 days prior to appointment. They must also be a resident of the State of Michigan for at least 30 days prior to the appointment and be at least 18 years of age.
They must also be United States Citizen and have no felony convictions.
Interested persons can submit a notice of interest, in writing, to the Bronson Community School’s Board President, Jan Byler at 810 Pleasant Hill Road., Bronson, MI 49028 or you may drop them off at the Administration Office at 501 East Chicago Street in Bronson no later than January 22.
