COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman will be laying out the process of hiring the next 911 Director before the Board of Commissioners during their work session next Thursday.
He told the Branch County 911 Communications Board on Wednesday it will be a three step selection process that will start late this month. The initial applicants will be reviewed by a screening committee.
Those who survive the initial screening review would then be brought before a interview panel who will then select the finalists for the position.
Members of the 911 Board will be involved in the process of selecting a new director. Norman on Wednesday asked for two 911 Board members to serve as primary participants with another serving as an alternate.
