QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – With bone chilling temperatures expected to continue into next week, the Village of Quincy is suggesting to residents they may want to open a faucet and allow the water to trickle over the next few days in order to avoid frozen pipes.
Bronson, Union City and a number of other communities have recently issued water trickle order advisories due to the frigid weather which shows no signs of letting up after moving in over a week ago.
Some of the coldest weather of the season is expected this weekend with lows on Monday morning expected to drop below zero. Wind chills are also expected to be down around 15 below.
Quincy water customers who choose to run their water are asked to call the village office at 639-2530 and leave a message letting the village know you are running your water. You’re also asked to leave your address and a phone number where they can contact you with any questions.
