BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – After last Wednesday’s lock down of Bronson schools which took place when the State of Michigan’s OK2SAY website got information about a threat, Bronson Community Schools Superintendent Steve Wilson told the district’s Board of Education Monday that when possible he will try to alert parents.
But he added it’s not an easy thing to do while the lock down is going on and sometimes depending on the situation, it’s not possible.
Wilson said he has changed his opinion about that over the years.
He says the information given out will be of a general nature.
Wilson wanted to remind people that information they get from schools while there is a police investigation going on has to be limited.
The potential threat against Bronson Junior and Senior High School did not materialize last Wednesday and the lock down was lifted in time for the normal dismissal of classes.
