BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater J.V. and Varsity Boys bowlers defeated Harper Creek on Tuesday afternoon at Bowlero Lanes in Battle Creek.
Coldwater won the Varsity match 28-2. Coldwater took both regular games 900-796 and with their best game of the season in game two 1029-917, taking totals 1928-1713. Coldwater also won both Baker games 158-150 and 191-190, winning totals 349-340. Coldwater Seniors Kai Kinsey and Dayten Yearling bowled in their final regular season match with Kinsey throwing a 260 game and Yearling a 213 and a 186. Chase Rubley had a 210, Ryan Sturgeon rolled a 197 and Chance Cook tallied a 189.
Coldwater won the J.V. match 23-7. The Cardinals won game one 806-616, lost game two 856-77 and took total 1577-1472. Coldwater won both Baker games 187-147 and 177-152, and took totals 364-293. Coldwater was led by Andon Parshall with a 199, Senior Parker Dangler rolled a 174 and Cameron Shuler had a 181.
The Cardinal Varsity bowlers will compete in the Regional tournament in Kalamazoo Friday for the Boys and Saturday for the Girls.
