Second seed Battle Creek Lakeview will take on Sturgis in the first semifinal of the Coldwater districts next Wednesday night at 5:00 p.m..
Wednesday’s winners will play each other for the district title on Friday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m..
With Battle Creek Central ineligible, it also means the Cardinals will not have to go up against Arieonna Ware who became the City of Battle Creek’s all time leading scorer for boys and girls basketball on Monday night with 1,506 points. She broke a record previously held by 1992 Michigan Mr. Basketball Kenyon Murray.
