BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – With the recent increase of catalytic converter being stolen from cars and other vehicles, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has told the public to look out for criminal activity.
Criminals are crawling under cars in driveways, parking lots and businesses where vehicles are parked and left unattended.
The catalytic converters are being cut off and later sold.
The Sheriff’s Office says if possible, do not leave your vehicles in unattended areas for long periods of time.
If you see someone on the ground looking under cars, call 911 and report it so it can be investigated.
