COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A vacancy on the Coldwater Community School Board of Education is scheduled to be filled during the board’s organizational business meeting on Monday.
There were two candidates for the position. Kristin Lyon-Welch and Gretchen Ennis were interviewed by school board members during a special meeting on June 30.
Whoever is selected would serve out Nick Krzeminski’s term on the Board which runs through December 31, 2022.
Krzeminski stepped down last month after serving on the Coldwater school board since 2011.
The seat will re-open for the November 2022 election at which time, the seat will be for a six year term.
Krzeminski has also served as the Board Vice-President in recent years so the School Board will also have to name a new V.P. on Monday.
Did they give info on being able to zoom into the meeting? Or any other call in information?
