COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School eighth grade A boys basketball team is still undefeated following their 49-31 victory over Harper Creek on Monday night. Owen Tappenden led the Legg scoring with 14 points while Austin Downs pumped in nine points and Gavin Taylor and Jackson Reilly each had eight points.
The eighth grade B team lost to Harper Creek 47-21. Leading the Cards in scoring was Michael Wright with eight points and seven rebounds. Luke Stevens had six points and six rebounds.
The 7rh grade A improved to 7-1 with a 40-10 win at Harper Creek. Dayton Ennis had 13 points and three assists while Draycen Foster had six points, seven steals and three assists. Joseph Hayward and Landon Dirschell both grabbed 10 rebounds.
The 7th grade B team lost to Harper Creek 22-17. Dylan Smith had nine points while Mason Sabaitis had eight rebounds.
