BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson has been presented with the Project of the Year award for the South Ruggles and Compton Street project from the American Public Works Association Southwest Michigan Branch. City Manager Branden Mersman says the project won Best Project in the Environment category for projects more than $1 million. The ceremony was held in Portage with a total of four projects winning awards for the Southwestern Michigan Branch in four different categories. Mersman says so far the flows at the Wastewater Treatment Plant are less than half than what they normally would be at this time of year.
