CALDWELL COUNTY, KY (WTVB) – Arraignments have been set for Monday for four area men who were arrested in Princeton, Kentucky for their alleged parts in trying to loot from tornado-damaged homes and vehicles.
Thirty-year-old Mitchell Stanton and Jesse Stanton, both of Coldwater along with 25-year-old Sevon Gowen of Sturgis and 27-year-old Brandon Ransbottom of Bronson were arrested on Thursday after Princeton Police and investigators from the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office saw the suspects and approached them for questioning. According to a news release, stolen items were recovered from the suspects’ vehicle.
The Stantons are facing charges of receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools. Ransbottom is facing charges of receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of burglary tools and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Gowen has been charged with promoting contraband, possession of methamphetamine, possession of burglary tools and receiving stolen property.



What an embarrassment to our community. I hope the police here are checking these 4 local men out. They didn’t just start committing crimes. They may be responsible for area break- in and be in possession of stolen merchandise at their residence.
