BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – 26 Branch County wrestlers will be competing Saturday at the M.H.S.A.A. Individual Wrestling Regional Tournaments.
The top four finishers in each weight class will advance to the Individual M.H.S.A.A. Finals at Ford Field in Detroit on March 4 and 5.
Coldwater’s Tre Miller (119) and Hunter Munson (160) will be competing at the Division Two regional meet at Niles.
Quincy’s Jacob Reif (125), Devin George (189) and Hunter Spieth (215) will be at the Division three regional at Constantine.
Branch County will be well represented at the Division Four regional at Schoolcraft as there will be 11 wrestlers competing from Bronson and 10 wrestlers from Union City.
The Viking contingent will consist of Aiden Fill (103), Owen Kimmons (112), Perry Lake (119), Mason Lindsey (135), Drew Seekman (140), Devlin Duff (145), Carson Norton (152), Jacob Britten (171), Jacob Dixon (189), Matthew Blankenship (215) and Jayden Post (285).
The Chargers will be represented by Logan Mears (103), Mason Hawthorne (112), Landyn Crance (125), Aiden Taylor (130), Montana Connell (135), Brayton Mears (140), Colton Russell (145), Garrett Iobe (160), Garrett Halder (189) and Grady Iobe (215).
District titles were won last week by Brayton Mears and Colton Russell of Union City, Jacob Dixon of Bronson and Jacob Reif of Quincy.
