COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Results of a recent survey concerning downtown Coldwater were presented Wednesday night both in person and on the City of Coldwater’s You Tube channel.
The survey was conducted in partnership with the National Main Street Program.
Norma Miess serves as the Vice President of Main Street America’s revitalization services. She said the survey was just a beginning.
She said Main Street is community driven as a economic approach.
Miess spent nearly an hour presenting results of the survey which attracted nearly 500 responses.
The majority of responses came from people between the ages of 35 and 44.
The first question asked people what did they like about downtown Coldwater.
The survey indicated there’s a perception about emptiness in the downtown area.
You can view the entire power point presentation live on the City’s You Tube channel.
