Two Vikings earn first team Big 8 conference girls basketball honors, five Branch County players get honorable mentions

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Two members of the Bronson Vikings girls basketball team have earned first team All Big Eight Conference recognition.

Making the first team were Haylie Wilson and Aubree Calloway.

Five from Branch County earned honorable mentions. They were Jadyn Cary of Bronson, Hayley Hinds of Quincy along with Megann Russell, Madison Wilber and Jordan Chard from Union City.

Jonesville’s Mackenzie Baker was named the Big Eight’s girls basketball Most Valuable Player.
