Some government offices will be closed for Good Friday

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Most local government offices will be closed on Good Friday.

Branch County offices, Bronson City Hall along with village offices in Union City and Quincy will be closed.

City of Coldwater and Coldwater Board of Public Utilities offices will close at noon on Friday.

Since Good Friday is not considered a federal holiday, federal courts and government offices will be open.

State of Michigan offices will also be open.

The U.S. Postal Service also does not recognize Good Friday as a holiday so mail service will be available as normal.

Most banks should be opened but some may have reduced hours so you might want to call them ahead of time.
