HANOVER, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s softball team split their Wednesday doubleheader at Hanover-Horton as both games of the twinbill were high school affairs.
Quincy won the first game 13-9 after the score was tied 9-9 after the second inning.
The Orioles got home runs from Mckynna Connin, Cemera Paul and Deziray Skirka. Kailey Allman added three hits including a double.
Hanover-Horton won the nightcap 15-8.
Once again, there were lots of runs early as the game was tied 6-6 after the second inning.
Connin belted her second home run of the day as part of her two hits.
Paul added three hits while Allman had two singles,
The Quincy Orioles record stands at 11-13-1. They will play at Michigan Center next Tuesday before competing in Centreville for Districts on June 4th.
