COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s underclassmen basketball teams split with Parma Western on Thursday night at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.
Parma won the JV game 59-39.
Jackson Reilly led Coldwater with 20 points and eight rebounds. Bennett McDonald added 10 points and had five steals while Austin Downs recorded three assists.
The J.V. Cards are now 9-7.
Coldwater won the freshman game 40-30. Kayden Roby led Coldwater with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Pablo Ocampo chipped in with six points. Liam Clark had seven rebounds and three steals.
The Cougars of St. Charles Borremeo Catholic School improved to 8-0 on Thursday night as they defeated Immaculate Conception 33-27 in a Sturgis Christian League middle school game. Leading the Cougars in scoring was Luke Aerts with 10 points followed by Aiden Adams with nine points, Andrew Richards with six points, Makenzie Rinard with four points and Sophia Adams and Atrayu DaCosta each contributing two points. The Cougars will be in action next Thursday February 16 against Factoryville Christian at 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage Rec Center in Coldwater.
