COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Neighborhood Services Director and City Planner Jake VanBoxel wants something done about a downtown building that has been the site of frequent vandalism following a fire in November of 2020.
He told the Historic District Commission on Wednesday night says there have been a number of incidents in recent weeks.
One idea being pursued is to cover the plywood with art.
It was determined the fire was caused by a shorted electrical outlet. Damage to the building was estimated at $60,000.
