COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – When the annual Strawberry Fest and Craft Show is held on Saturday, June 17 in downtown Coldwater, it will feature a record number of vendors.
City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that they have reached a record 188 vendors and there is time left for more vendors to register.
The festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.. It will take place in the southwest corner of Four Corners Park as well as along U.S. 12, South Monroe, South Hanchett and the Tibbits Plaza parking lot.
Work continues on the new downtown restrooms in the alley located between South Monroe Street and Tibbits Plaza parking lot but Baker says they won’t be ready for Strawberry Fest.
Work will soon begin on the roof and the interior. The project cost about $180,000 and is supported in part by a $20,000 grant from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.
