COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – You may have noticed work on the front of downtown Coldwater buildings in recent weeks.
The Downtown Development Authority Board approved a resolution in March which covered three downtown Coldwater facade renovation projects.
The Coldwater Main Street Program had previously announced a total of $112,500 had been granted for projects at 49 West Chicago Street, Jeannie’s Diner and Southern Roots Salon & Spa.
Main Street Director Audrey Tappenden updated the D.D.A. on Wednesday.
Southern Roots Salon and Spa got $50,000 while $35,000 went to 49 West Chicago and $27,500 granted for facade work at Jeannie’s Diner.
The program is funded by a $75,000 grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and $37,500 of matching funds from Coldwater Main Street.
