Linda was born June 27, 1944 to William H. and Eleanor P. (Goodrich) Scherling in St. Louis Park, MN. She later met and married Elden W. Lee August 19, 1967.
Linda spent many years working as a teacher, teaching second and fourth grade, and spent most of her career as a substitute teacher.
Linda found much joy in being the wife of a pastor, helping with many church activities, especially those involving children. Her love for the Lord was deep and unwavering. She truly loved people, often leaving encouraging notes and phone calls for those she cared about. She genuinely sought to get to know each person, often connecting with who they were at their core.
Linda was an avid reader of everything. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and doing whatever she could to help those in need.
Linda is survived by her children, Loretta (Kirsen) Quan and Nathan (Melissa) Lee; her siblings, Audrey Michalicek and Jane Mccannell; and her grandchildren Brennan, Levi, and Aaron Quan and Micah, Isaac, Caleb, Bethany, and Anaiah Lee.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elden Lee; and her siblings Evonne Wallin and David Scherling.
