Catherine Sue Nettleman, 85, of Bronson, ascended to her beloved Lord and Savior September 16, 2025.
This date mirrored her late husband (Thierian Paul Nettleman), who joined the heavens 19 years earlier. It was a beautiful, sunny Tuesday afternoon, and she was surrounded by her loving family, the incredible team at Skaggs Assisted Living who cared for her, and the comforting support from Gentiva Hospice.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 19 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson, from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
A funeral service will follow at East Gilead Missionary Church in Bronson at 12:00 p.m. with a burial and luncheon immediately following.
Catherine loved gardening and found joy in being surrounded by hummingbirds, butterflies, and sharing her faith with her Church family— beautiful symbols of peace and grace, now shared with her loved ones above.
Catherine is survived by her children Sherry; Diana (Dave); Steve (Astrid); her siblings Gracie Elaine; Gerald; her grandchildren Ashley (Kyle); Carmen (Matt); Chris (Vikki); Branden (Cheyenne); Jacob; her great-grandchildren Alaina; Davien; Kadence; Gracelynn; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends, which she adored.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thierian; her siblings Edward Merriman; Linda Cook; Robert “Bobby” Merriman; Howard Merriman and Harold Merriman.
In lieu of flowers, Catherine would be honored by donations in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
