LaVonne M. Moore, 83, of Coldwater passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
A service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater officiated by Pastor Harold Jewell.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home. Interment will take place following the service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
LaVonne was born September 25, 1941 in Burlington, MI to Herbert and Mary (Crandal) Wait. She married James H. Moore on November 12, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1998.
LaVonne worked at Shaw Shoes, and Crotty’s in Quincy, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.
LaVonne is survived by her children Victoria (Terry) DWater, Wanda (Jim) Covey, Lorie Moore, Norman Moore; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her great great grandchild; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, LaVonne was preceded in death by her son Richard Moore; and siblings Patricia Fields, Evonne Wait, Garnet Wait, and Trent Wait.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Branch County.
