COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Details were released Monday concerning an accident last week involving a school bus from Pansophia Academy that resulted in four injuries, including one student on the bus.
According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. after a Quincy man driving a westbound F250 attempted a left-hand turn onto North Behnke Road. A Volvo XC90 traveling eastbound on East Garfield, driven by a Coldwater woman, then struck the F250, causing it to spin and collide with the school bus carrying 16 students.
The three occupants of the Volvo sustained minor injuries and were transported by LifeCare Ambulance to Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater. One juvenile from the bus was also taken to Insight Hospital by their parents for minor injuries.
The driver of the F250 was uninjured. In the immediate aftermath, deputies shut down the intersection while multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Michigan State Police, LifeCare Ambulance, and the Coldwater Fire Department.
Towing services, including VIP Towing and First Call Towing, also responded to the scene.
Pansophia Academy staff notified the parents of all students involved.

Again, Branch County hides the names of the drivers. After the initial news stories it just fades away and we never know. Why is that? This is all public record. What are they hiding?
