Arlen “AJ” L. Glispy, 61, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Beacon Health in Kalamazoo.
Cremation has taken place. There will be services held at a later date in Apopka, FL.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
AJ was born November 17, 1964 in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Arlen Glispy Sr. and Diana Pierce. He spent many years working as a landscaper and enjoyed being outdoors. In his free time, AJ could often be found fishing or hunting, two things he truly enjoyed.
In his later years, AJ especially looked forward to spending time with his friends at the Lofts. He enjoyed the friendships, conversations, and time spent socializing with those around him. AJ will be remembered by those who knew him for the friendships he made and the memories he shared with the people in his life.
AJ is survived by his son, Justin (Corina) Glispy; his sister, Vicki Kohler; four grandchildren; nephews, Patrick Skelly and Joseph Skelly; his best friend, Jim Hanna; and his friends at the Lofts, Susan, Brandon, Tony, Laura, and DJ.
AJ was preceded in death by his parents, Arlen Glispy Sr. and Diana Pierce.
AJ will be missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the opportunity to know him.
