Debra M. “Debbie” Paul, 70, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at her home.
A service will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
A visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Debra was born August 16, 1955 to Eugene and Rosemary (Miller) Paul. She graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1975.
Debbie found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, especially by babysitting the children in their lives, whom she loved as if they were her own. She had a special place in her heart for rescuing animals and found peace in needlework, creating beautiful handmade pieces with patience and care for her family.
Debra will be remembered for her sweet and gentle spirit, her unwavering optimism, and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
Debra is survived by her siblings, Michael (Nancy) Paul of Coldwater, Pam Wakley of Coldwater, and Barb Paul of Coldwater; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Rosemary Paul.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Branch County.
