QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy split their two matches Wednesday as they hosted Onsted and Hudson in a tri-match to start the season. The Orioles defeated Onsted 25-22, 20-25, 25-23 before falling to Hudson 25-21, 17-25, 25-17.
On the night, Ashlyn Fickle led the way with 16 kills, 5 service aces, and 13 assists, while Kora Timmons added 14 kills, 6 blocks, 3 aces, and 19 digs. Laura Bostic contributed 9 kills, 4 blocks, and a team-high 23 digs. Alexis Reif dished out 20 assists and tallied 15 digs.
Quincy will take a 1-1 record to Saturday’s Carrie Adams Invitational, hosted by St. Philip at Harper Creek.
