COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School hosted Harper Creek for volleyball Tuesday, with the 8th grade A team coming up short 18-25, 22-25.
Kenadee Cutler was strong on the serving line with 14 points and 5 aces. Hayden Riley with 4 points, 4 digs and one ace. Avery Foster 2 points and 2 digs. Peyton Riley 4 points, 2 digs and one ace. Madi Chamberlain one kill.
The 8th grade B team lost to Harper Creek 22-25,22-25 and won the 3rd set 18-16.
Leading in serving was Lylah Sanford with 4 points 1 ace, Payton Newland 5 points, 4 aces, Maddie Floyd 5 points 5 aces, Bella Brayton 4 points 2 aces and Noami Villa with 3 points. Annabella Parris had 5 digs, Dani Cruz-Aburto had 2 assists 1 dig and 1 kill, and Lilly Raymond had 1 dig and 1 kill.
The teams will host Parma Western Thursday.
The Coldwater 7th grade B team beat Harper Creek Coldwater 25-16, 26-24, 5-15.
