ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) – Michigan junior quarterback Shea Patterson will be in camp later this week for football, but for the next couple of days he’s focusing on his Major League Baseball career. Patterson was drafted by Texas Rangers in the 39th round this year, even though he has not played organized baseball since high school. Since last week, he has been with the Rangers Triple-A team, the Round Rock Express, taking batting practice and participating in drills. He signed a six-year deal with Texas, but will keep football his priority. The Wolverines begin fall practice Friday.
