COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The construction work along Grand, Marshall and Church Street continues and there are fears it will affect the start of school as Coldwater students head back to the classroom August 22.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker tried to reassure Coldwater Planning Commission members Monday night that Grand Street will be good to go when the first school bell sounds.
But he said the entire project will not be done and Church Street will still be closed when school starts.
Baker estimated Monday that the entire project is two weeks behind schedule.
