NOBLE TOWNSHI, MI (WTVB) – Only 27 out of 359 registered voters in Noble Township cast a ballot on Tuesday in the only election held in Branch County.
By a 25-2 margin, Noble Township voters approved a half mill increase for fire protection and equipment.
The levy was for five years and was expected to raise over $8,600 in the first year.
Voters in Calhoun County’s Burlington Township soundly rejected paying extra millage to fix the roads 223 to 132.
