Gordon was born August 22, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Deward and Beatrice (Smith) Miracle.
Known affectionately as “Cowboy,” Gordon was a devoted truck driver who took great pride in his work and was known as one of the hardest working people you’d ever meet. His love ran deep—often to a fault—and he had an undeniable presence that left an impression wherever he went.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: fixing up classic cars, riding motorcycles, smoking his meat, and spending cherished time with his family and friends. Summer was his favorite season, when he could enjoy time at the lake and campground.
Gordon is survived by his mother, Beatrice Miracle of Elizabethtown, KY; his children, Lisa (Tanner) Wortham of Raleigh, NC, Thomas (Cherish) Miracle of Otoe, Nebraska, Angel Miracle of Kalamazoo, MI, and Cheyann Miracle of Coldwater, MI; his brother, Donald (Teresa) Miracle; 11 beloved grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Deward L. Miracle, and his sister, Diana Nielson.
Gordon’s life and legacy will live on through the memories he created and the love he gave so freely.
