COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Brace yourself, as the days of early evening light are about to end with the conclusion of Daylight Saving Time.
The annual tradition of “falling back” occurs on Sunday, morning, when clocks are turned back one hour at 2:00 a.m. This shift means more daylight in the mornings for a while, but it also signals the arrival of earlier sunsets.
It’s also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke detectors and to manually adjust analog clocks and watches before heading to bed on Saturday night, though most modern devices like cell phones and computers will update automatically.
Saturday the sun is scheduled to set at approximately 6:33 p.m. However Sunday, after the clocks have fallen back, sunset will occur a full hour earlier, around 5:33 p.m.
