COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Officials at the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center have announced an extension of the emergency warming shelter located in the center’s gymnasium at 89 W. Chicago St. in Coldwater to combat the extended frigid temperatures.

To maintain operations in the 108-year-old facility, the center is urgently seeking monetary donations to cover high heating costs and incidental expenses.
Everett says Community members can also provide support through volunteerism and food donations.
Those interested in staffing a shift are encouraged to contact Pete Ash via Facebook Messenger to sign up for available time slots. Additionally, the center is requesting donations of bread, lunch meat, snacks, potatoes, and various meats to feed those seeking refuge.
